Hip
Welcome to the Hip Center
The hip joints can wear out over the years due to activities associated with your daily life. Fractures and conditions such as arthritis can increase damage which ultimately can reduce your mobility and ability to live independently. Our team of specialty-trained hip surgeons at Palm Beach Orthopaedic Institute treat and rehabilitate patients with both complex and simple hip disorders. They have extensive training and experience in performing highly specialized hip procedures. Our goal is to get you back on your feet and back to your best. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of hip conditions and the surgical treatment of these joints. Diagnostics
Patients typically experience hip pain when there is a problem affecting the hip, pelvis, or lower back. Based on symptoms your orthopaedic surgeon will perform physical examination, X-rays and other scans, to identify the cause of your pain.

Overuse and damage from activity can lead to a range of injuries, including muscle strain, cartilage deterioration, or hip bone fracture. Any injury or disease of the hip will adversely affect the joint's range of motion and ability to bear weight. Age can play a factor as well.
