Diagnostics
The source of pain is determined by the physician with a physical examination and other medical imaging devices which may include X-rays, MRI scan, CT scan, EMG, etc. PBOI uses a variety of diagnostic tests to help identify the specific nature of your injury or condition. It is critical for patients to work with a specialist to identify the underlying conditions causing their pain, and then develop an appropriate treatment plan.
Conditions
Conditions that cause pain can be brought on by the normal wear and tear on the body, an accident or injury, or from congenital deformity that can seriously interfere with daily functions and health. When you sustain certain medical conditions, the consequences can range from mild pain and discomfort to debilitating pain and restricted movement. From chronic or acute back pain and cervical disc herniations to spondylolisthesis and sciatica, pain can be the result of a serious condition. Learning more about the cause of your pain, our specialists can help you with different options regarding effective treatments.
Care & Management
When left untreated, certain conditions can cause further damage, and you could be left dealing with chronic pain, weakness or numbness. Specialized treatment should be sought to ensure that a proper diagnosis is made. Depending on the severity and location of your condition, various treatment solutions are available - both invasive and non-invasive.. Our doctors consider all treatment options to give you the best results using the safest and latest methods proven to restore function and mobility.
