From my experience (and the experience of several other of his patients that I spoke with), he is the BEST … The whole staff was very thorough, very professional, very courteous…. Everyone I dealt with was focused on patient satisfaction - listening carefully to concerns, fully explaining the process and answering all questions… No issues before during or after the operation… I had no pain at all and within 2 weeks after the operation I was back to taking walks with no trouble… Friends and family (including PT professionals) were amazed at the speedy recovery ….,those who know Dr. Avino were not surprised….. • Dr. Avino and Heather are a dynamic duo!!! I was recently Diagnosed with AVN at the age of 33 and was constantly on my feet working 12 hr shifts as a nurse. I felt like my world was crushed with this new diagnosis. I endured pain constantly and felt scared of the unknown. Dr. Avino informed me that a hip replacement would be the best solution to this dilemma. After living with pain for a year I realized he was right because the pain was only getting worse. • Would highly recommend Dr. Avino. My husband limped and had difficulty walking without pain. His hip was bone on bone with a leg discrepancy. He had the MAKO Smart Robotics total hip replacement done by Dr. Avino. Best thing he ever did! No pain and back to enjoying life. His leg discrepancy was corrected and no more limping or pain. Dr. Avino's office staff is the best. Heather, his Medical Assistant, made the process so easy. She supplied written instructions for everything and was easily accessible by email. There was never a delay in response time. Drugs needed post surgery were called into the pharmacy before surgery. In home nurse and therapy appointments were arranged by Heather. The whole process was flawless. You will not be disappointed with the care and outcome you receive from Dr. Avino.
