Dr. Jonathan Shaw is a fellowship-trained joint replacement surgeon. He provides relief for hip and knee arthritis by utilizing the most contemporary minimally invasive techniques that allow for outpatient surgery.

Dr. Shaw and his dedicated staff offer a comprehensive approach to hip and knee replacement, which results in rapid recovery for patients. He specializes in minimally invasive total hip and knee replacement, anterior hip replacement, partial knee replacement, robotic surgery, revision joint replacement, and nonoperative care for hip and knee arthritis.

Dr. Shaw has a background in engineering and several years of experience in the orthopaedic industry. He trained at one of the top arthroplasty fellowships in the world, Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.

Dr. Shaw has a keen interest in orthopaedic research and the advancement of total joint arthroplasty. He has been published in the top arthroplasty journals, including The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and The Journal of Arthroplasty. He was awarded the AAHKS Clinical Research Award in 2022 for his work on reducing patients' pain following total joint replacement.

Witnessing his patients’ excitement when they resume an active lifestyle with pain relief and improved function is the most rewarding part of Dr. Shaw's practice. Outside of his practice, Dr. Shaw enjoys family time with his wife and two children. His hobbies include playing golf, fishing, and boating.
